Health and Safety

Health and safety

When filming there are several health and safety issues we must consider. These include:

1. Weather may be particularly wet and sometimes frosty, so we must make sure that equipment is fastened securely and is stable when filming our external shots

2. Must make sure that the area around the streets or set is free from litter and obstacle to prevent injuries

3. Make sure that all cables and leads are taped to the ground to stop actors and crew tripping.

4. When using the knife in the scene, take extra care when handling the knife. We must make make sure the knife is pointing down the entire time and not pointed at someone.

5. .No food or drink is to be consumed or anywhere near the camera equipment and set.

6. When lighting the candles take extra care with them. Insuring all candles have a long enough wick and that the melted wax has a place to fall into
